Storm damage?

Storms often lash the Konya Plain and can appear with very little notice. The latest one happened just before our end of week BBQ, drenching the camp, including the burgers on the grill. Our excavation trenches are covered in canvas shelters, designed years ago for use at Çatalhöyük. They work well, being cool under the sun and designed to withstand high winds, though the guy ropes will snap if winds get too high. Despite a very fierce wind, only a few canvas sheets were displaced in areas M and P and were quickly fixed. And as a bonus the new FAIMS external wireless aerial (see below) also stood up well and continued to allow data entry throughout.
