Sources before claims
We prefer research papers, project reports, university profiles and responsible public authorities. Dates distinguish ancient occupation, excavation seasons, publication and website updates. An updated web page does not make an old observation new.
Observation and interpretation
We distinguish material evidence from analytical methods and proposed explanations. We preserve approximate dates and the scope of samples. We avoid claims that Boncuklu is the first in the world unless a source supports the precise geographical and technological comparison.
Authorship and review
New explanatory text is credited to the Boncuklu web edition. Research authors retain credit for their publications. Their names and professional contacts do not imply that they wrote, reviewed or approved the new wording. We do not claim an external peer-review process for web articles.
Historical material
The original site was a bilingual scientific project resource. Archived paths guide the new structure; older booklets are labelled as historical publications. Later unrelated gambling, retail and parking content is excluded. New explanatory text is written afresh rather than copied from old pages.
Corrections and translations
English and Turkish pages are paired. We correct the affected language and its counterpart when a factual change applies to both. Send the URL, correction and source to website administration. Significant changes should receive a fresh update date.
Website administration
The web edition is maintained under the project rights confirmed by the domain owner. The owner’s publication details and named editorial appointments are maintained separately; no unnamed individual is presented as an archaeological expert.
