As the weather becomes cooler, an indicator the seasons are changing is the appearance of storks above the Höyük. Each year these birds use the thermals above the mounds on the Konya Plain to gain height to fly the long distances down to Africa for the winter. An amazing sight to see in the morning, it makes a great start to the day.
